The car was slightly modified to look more like a police car through the tan body paint and coloring of the original black pillars, the painting over of the previously chrome side door moulding, and the addition of "dog dish" wheel covers, along with the added police equipment and bumper sticker. Here's the interior, where one can see the 1996-1997 steering wheel and the high-end LX interior:

rtsbusman1997 ◊ 2015-12-13 03:11	It appears they used more than one. The 4th thumbnail has the standard base trim (this could be one of the NYPD Blue ones) while the rest have LX trim. The first/second thumb also has headrests while the interior in the 8th doesn't have any. The one that blew up was also a LX model but would have to have been rigged for the pyrotechnics. I assume 2-3 LX models and one base model was used.
