As info at /vehicle.php?id=974400 but this does not seem to have the 1600 side badge - so might be S3a or S3b if ADL was made earlier than S3c. |

dsl (who found the web page about me & my car) astutely observed that it lacks the "1600" door badge of an ADL Minx, so I'll call it out as a Singer Gazelle, up to Series IIIB. Technically, the ADL was a single model without a series number. Rootes Australia based it on the Singer Gazelle Series IIIC, assembled from CKD kits during 1962-1963 at 19 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne. |
