Agree W111 because no side strip of W112. Colourwise it's more likely an earlier one than a later, because of a big ivestigation published in 1967, concerning how different colours on cars got noticed in traffic. Concequently grey was more common before 1967 than after. 220 SE/C or 250 SE/C? Possibly 220 SE because of earliest model. -- Last edit: 2016-11-02 11:08:09 |

Not surprising when you look at the miserable selection of shades offered these days, black, grey and washing machine white seem to be the favourites of the non original fashionista sheep. As befits my age, my Mercédès is hearing aid beige, the second least popular colour in the palette available, the only colour bought by fewer people was that vomit green they did for a while. I know it will be unpopular to sell, but I got a heck of a good discount from the dealer when I bought it, and there will always be a good market for a low mileage well cared for diesel Benz estate car. -- Last edit: 2016-11-02 14:31:40 |

A light metallic beige Merc is not a wild choice, jfs... Colourful cars are like future self-driving cars, everyone else on the road should be driving them, but I won't buy one. |
