This is not a 1940 Buick but a 1941 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Model 76 C.Headlights are fully integrated in the front fenders ( in 1940 they were semi-integrated) , the lower sides of the grill curve inboard ( in 1940 they were straight) andit has the side chrome slat on the front fenders and double slats on the rear fenders. |

I would argue this car should have three stars, if not four. It is featured in 80% of the film. And no effort was made to conceal its identitiy! The role of the vehicle is well known. It belongs to the couple played by Grant and Loy. This is their sole source of transportation between their dwelling in Manhattan and the new residence in Connecticut. They go up to look at the house, to check on construction frequently, and after they have moved in. -- Last edit: 2007-04-01 06:57:40 |

4-stars are better for you? |

If it is seen "a lot" along the movie and used by main characters, it deserves indeed 4 stars |
