 It appears indeed to be a 1930-31 model, due to the door handle location, here with a late 1931 bumper (reused on the 1932 models). The car in the 1st thumb seems therefore to be an early 1931 model (double-bar bumper without the 1930 reinforcements).
But is it a Model 8-57 (114"/2.90 m wheelbase), a Model 8-67 (118"/3 m wb), a Model 87 (124"/3.15 m wb) or a Model 8-97 (132"/3.35 m wb)?

 In the thumb pics provided by Elmer there are three different cars. The first, dark coloured, car is I am fairly sure, a 1931 Buick Series 50. The 50 used smaller wheels (5.25 x 18) then the 60 which had 6.00 x 19s. The second sedan is lighter in colour and has the double bar bumper seen on the 1930 models, and I think is a bigger series model. The car going over the cliff is a much bigger car with a different shape at the rear of the body.
I think each is worth its own page.

... which is impossible as the three of them are assumed to be the same car, in the movie :D
