Would it not be a Ford B-Series (perhaps a B-750) Thomas Built body |

Should be B-Series when it is a US built manufacturer. I found this youtube video of an old US bus that was taken down to Valparaíso: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzLHXxcOZfA - plate is fake or off another old Ford. I tried it. A lot of Mercosur countries used F-Series chassis to build local buses. Since we can accurately pinpoint the body as Thomas Built then we know it was most likely from our market and taken down to Chile for service. Unless there is evidence Ford exported Thomas Built buses or evidence Thomas Built exported Ford buses ? I guess anything is possible but it does not seam feasible or profitable. Want your head to spin? Here is (ran the plate) and F-600 bus: Link to "galeria.chilebuses.cl" So we will do US spec year range then considering it appears to be a former US bus. 1973-1979 B-Series Thomas Built. If the bus is not US spec then we have to figure out if we want to use RA spec years or Brazilian years as they both differ (I worked on both but I would have to look at my former comments to see the year ranges). |
