ingo ◊ 2016-09-02 10:58	Interesting location! It's on the East Berlin side, just in front of the Brandenburger Tor - nowhere else in East Berlin you came close to The Wall as here! But the bus -this sightseeing tour was a very unique tour, the only possibility to visit East Berlin without a Visa and without the "Zwangsumtausch" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_German_mark#International_exchange was not allowed to stop there. As no other vehicle wasn't allowed to do that either. And pedestrians weren't allowed to walk closer than the place, this picture was shot. Otherwise the two blokes there would have arrested you. Both were snitchers from the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stasi also the guy on the right, disguised as a policeman. As the blokes at the DDR-border, disguised as tollkeepers, too.
