Not so sure if it is a Bugatti. The radiator doesn't look quite right and I can't be sure from the other pic if it has the distinctive Bugatti 'front springs thru the axle'. |

There are so many things that say this is NOT Bugatti. Studs holding wheels? All Bugattis have spinners, surely? There is no apron in front of that 'wrong bow' axle. The radiator filler is behind the cowl, but cowls are really unusual on Bugs. T29/30's but it doesn't look like this. The exhaust.... nah! Perrot brakes? Sorry, try again! |

Most racing bugattis of that period had alloy wheels see: http://www.aarg.com.au/bugatti.jpg that may have studs. There are others that I don't know how they were fastened see: http://geektechnique.org/images/191.jpg |

Bugatti's unlucky 1923 Indianapolis racer Type 23/30. Count Zborowski brought it to Britain for racing on Brooklands. http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/lot_details.aspx?intObjectID=2470874 Link to "www.ahraf.com" http://www.supercars.net/cars/2000.html -- Last edit: 2010-09-21 20:07:24 |
