Jun ◊ 2007-03-22 13:43	I guess it's Kawasaki Z1000 J (1981-) Engine is '81- Kawasaki 998cc, also frame & side-cover matchs '81- Z1000J. http://kz1000r2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/Z1000R2/Picture/History/Z1000J1USA.jpg Square headlight, small shield and seat are not original. jplemoine wrote Le moteur ressemble ici beaucoup plus à un Zephyr... I think this fuel tank is taken from Zephyr too. Mechanical components of Zephyr are based on these Z1000 and former Z750 FXII model.

Jun ◊ 2007-03-24 13:59	(K)Z1000R was based on (K)Z1000J and released as AMA Superbike anniversary model in US. Limited numbers are sold for two years and still a bit expensive to use for these project.
