This should be listed as hatchback.

This is not a hatchback. The Cutlass Salon and Century from 1978-80 were fastback sedans and coupes with regular trunks.

The Cutlass Salon has the round center caps on the SSIII rally rims fitted with the 1968-vintage stainless steel vent holes which are rounded off - these were exclusive to 1978 Cutlasses and the Omega; at some point during the middle of the 1978 model year, the stainless steel trim pieces were switched to the squared off version and the center caps used were switched to the version used on the 75+ SSIIIs with the 15 x 7 wheel option.

Check out the stuntman's head striking the pavement during the stunt.

Bad continuity here. The window shot is a notchback Supreme along with the Freeway shot. There is a huge difference in the grilles. The humpback Cutlass is a Salon and it is not a hatchback. It had a trunk. The back window was fixed. Although this continuity problem was not quite as bad as the Impalas in Raising Arizona where they had to used two or three different year Impalas during a sequence.

78 and later Cutlasses reverted back to 14 inch wheels with possible exceptions of the 83-84 Hurst Olds and subsequent 85-87 442s. 79 Hurst Olds had 14 inch wheels.
