pilou ◊ 2007-03-13 15:06	Pictures are from the Brooklands Double Twelve Hour Race of 1929 showing the line up of the Bentley team.The racing number 2 on the small left thumbnail is the first racing Bentley Speed Six Model 6 1/2 litre issued .It was known as " Old number 1" and was driven by Barnato and Benjafield.During the first four hours they led the race at a speed of 92 mph but had to retire with a broken dynamo coupling.The other Bentleys as racing number 5 seen here were 4 1/2 litre racing versions.
