dsl ◊ 2016-06-30 20:42	JWS 37x plate was Edinburgh mid-1952 - other possible JxS combinations (JRS, JMS, JNS) are either 1956+ or not used. Seems UK name was 760 (1947 to Oct 1950) then 750 - similar to Australian naming. UK assembly from November 1949. Any 4CV-ists able to add info??
johnfromstaffs ◊ 2016-06-30 20:51	The one in which I had part ownership (537 NVW, Essex 1959) was used for grass hill climbs until the crankshaft broke, due to the limitations of the gearbox causing over revving.
