The bed rail angle and the second reinforcement bar in front of the rear wheel arch indicate therefore a 1951-53 model with the 125¼"/3.18 m wheel base, i.e: • a long bed version of the ½-ton GMC 100 (102 model code); • a ¾-ton pickup: ∗ GMC 150 (152 code) ∗ Chevrolet 3600 (3604 code). There is no GM common name for this generation of trucks, so IMCDb habits give it indeed the Chevrolet identification by default.
