If it's a 1991 model, then why did Carl say it was brand new? |
◊ 2006-04-26 05:27 |
Because not enough people would question that? |

1992 due to the non-black pillars I guess? |
◊ 2006-08-26 17:48 |
The pillars were black, unless they used different models in other scenes. Are there any other scenes of this car? |
◊ 2006-08-26 18:54 |
Actually you are right, they are black in all scenes (even the one on the picture above, I guess it is just due to the light that I saw them blue). Few more pictures: |

Poor car... |

Can't be worse than the gray Caprice that's in this movie. It gets trampled by an elephant. |
◊ 2006-08-27 00:00 |
That was a red one if I remember well... Edit: no, not red: /vehicle_6705-Chevrolet-Caprice-Classic-1991.html -- Last edit: 2006-08-27 00:01:30 |

Someone should add a picture of when the vine grabs it, folds it in half. and drags it into the forest. |
◊ 2007-07-03 06:38 |
Yes it was. Quite sad, isn't it? |
◊ 2007-07-21 21:12 |
Actually, if you look closely, you notice that in the vine scenes, that the Caprice is actually a well trimmed model. |

Either Carl just got it from the police station or it's new to him. |

Isn't there a picture of this caprice rounding a corner just as Robin Williams runs out the door? |

that's actually a NORTH RICHLAND HILLS police car in texas.(but with different police badge for movie) -- Last edit: 2009-01-13 00:43:25 |
◊ 2009-01-13 01:37 |
They just have similar paint jobs, I doubt this car was at one point a NRPD car, especially since this movie was not filmed anywhere near Texas. |
◊ 2009-01-13 16:41 |
Isn't this paint job also similar to Seattle, WA? |

The actor who said this line is David Alan Grier from "In Living Color"! |

To be fair, the 91 and 95 are the same body style. Maybe Carl wasn't a car guy and didn't care enough to notice. |
◊ 2014-01-20 00:33 |
The only difference in the 91 and 95 is that the 95 didn't have skirted back wheels, unless that was only applied to civilian cars and not police cruisers. |
◊ 2014-01-20 09:10 |
There are many more differences than the skirted back wheel housing between the 1991 and the 1995-1996 models. Namely the interior, wheels, side mirrors, b-pillar color, rear passenger window design, etc. |

When half the light bar was missing, how did it still work? |
◊ 2016-05-26 04:30 |
well, it was a very tough car.... |
◊ 2016-08-24 07:56 |
Fine Take It!!!!! I also agree that Caprices were very tough, but they do not hold their own whatsoever when it comes to dealing with a plant from a sentient board game. |
