The P in the middle means Pullman Kabine = Cab Over Engine, which this most certainly hasn't, the S means Sattelschlepper = Tool for pulling a semitrailer = rig, which this indeed might have, but we cannot know for certain. Having the headlights in the bumper means it's a tougher frame and thus able to pull or carry more load. Models available were: L = Lastkraftwagen = Truck LK = Lastkraftwagen mitt Kipper = Truck with flatbed LA = Lastkraftwagen mit Allradantrieb = Truck with Four or Six wheel drive LAK = Lastkraftwagen mit Allradantrieb und Kipper = Truck with Four or Six wheel drive and flatbed LS = Lastkraftwagen mit Sattelschlepper = Truck with a rig Also a special version with an additional letter B = Betonmischer Aufbau = Special chassis for carrying a concrete mixer, was available. In the 1968 book the following models were available: LAK 1518 (formely LAK 329), LK 1623, LS 1623, LAK 1623, LAS 1623, L 1918, LK 1918, LS 1918, L 1920, L 1923, LK 1920, LK 1923, LS 1920, LS 1923, LA 1920, LA 1923, LAK 1920, LAK 1923, LAS 1920, LAS 1923, L 2623, LK 2623, LS 2623, LB 2623, LA 2623, LAK 2623, LAS 2623 and LAB 2623. |
