I believe it is. I wonder about that aluminum plate above the grille, though. |

you're correct Ddey, I think the trim you mentioned is aftermarket, Ive never seen it before. A similar cab was used by Reo also. |

Could be a REO or a Diamond T. The truck was originally Diamond T's design and was later used by I-H and REO. |

Diamond T did have quad headlights on a truck such as this, but it is more likely this is a 1961-1965 International VCO with quad headlights. VCO is a four-wheel truck. VCOF is a six-wheel truck. I assume likewise for BC and BCF. |

This is a VCOF only if it is a tandem, and how likely is it to be a tandem beer truck? Let's call it a VCO-196. |

I've checked the beer brand that is written on the truck and there is a beer brand called Iron City Beer; it is produced by the Iron City Brewery out of the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh. On the Google Maps, Iron City Brewery in Lawrenceville is 1.1 miles (1.7km) north of the Polish Hill area (where the serial killer in the movie was known to commit his murders) and a mile (1.6km) east of the 31st Street Bridge (where the car chase begun in the film). -- Last edit: 2025-09-24 12:22:13 |
