Local assembly of Daihatsu 1000 saloon and estate (1967-70) by Willowvale Motor Industries in list here - /vehicle.php?id=782802 . But 1000 was 1970+ model ... Maybe they did earlier Compagno 800 as well, or the dates are wobbly??? |

Not 1000 as it lacks C-pillar vent. |

Definitely a Rhodesian product. Daihatsu cars only came on the South African market in 1983, assembled and sold by Alfa Romeo, though Leyland sold Daihatsu pickups and light trucks in the 1970s. |
