johnfromstaffs ◊ 2016-03-29 11:54	All the Americans I talk to on Hemmings think Daimler is German and don't recognise the name as we do in Britain. I don't think the old company under BSA tried very hard to export anything outside the empire, and it seems Jaguar concentrated on its own cars in USA following the takeover of Daimler, the name being unused by BMH after 1967, according to Wikipedia's Daimler history. -- Last edit: 2016-03-29 12:17:31
