I'm guessing... is it a Bedford? |

Leyland Laird or Terrier light truck 1970 (Pilot cab BMC from 1968). 'Leyland' lettering visible possibly a Terrier with Luton body, so cab tilt mechanism not used. |

Looks a bit big for a Terrier (normally on 16" wheels and running at 7.5 tonnes) - could be a Laird or even a Clydesdale. It looks like it has a short Luton head on the body (wth a gap above the cab too) and so the cab can still be tilted. -- Last edit: 2007-04-23 18:51:39 |

Could also be a lightweight Boxer which replaced the Laird models from May 1971 (Laird only continued as tractor units in the UK and in some export markets). |

Rounded front wing profile eliminates the Terrier and Laird which had smaller, flatter wings. Medium weight Boxer from October 69 onwards Boxer BX1425 14¼-Ton gvw truck or larger. |
