DynaMike ◊ 2007-02-24 00:39	I agree with Packard. But in 1934, their front fenders came further down towards the bumper. This must be a 1933 (shorter front end of the fender, but yet the vertical part of it on the sides).

pilou ◊ 2007-02-24 15:01	This is indeed a tenth series Packard Phaeton 1933 on the 142 inch wheelbase chassis .It could be the twelve , model 1005 ,or super eight , model 1004 ( both built january 1933 to august 1933).About the only external difference was that the head- , tail- and parking lights of the twelve had a raised chrome rib.The picture here cannot allow for differentiation

At least, we have a detail that identifies all Twelves: Bumpers with weights on the edges. Eights and Super Eights have lighter bumpers. Problem is: These bumpers were optional for lesser Packards...
