Is this British or European version? |
◊ 2009-07-15 21:27 |
Was this question neccessary, by the photos and the registration-facts, Exiv96 has posted? |

It is made for the UK, since it's right-hand drive and has the Euro-spec reflectors above the wheel wells. |

They're not reflectors but indicators (turn signals). |

I stand corrected, but nevertheless the North American Cherokees didn't have them. |

This is the European version. |

There is no difference in the "British Version" and any other RHD "European Version" aside from the instrument cluster. Not to mention the UK is in the EU... -- Last edit: 2011-11-30 01:43:50 |

I said that for convenience. It was already written, so I went along with it. Saved me the work of writing it out myself. |

Wrecked in 2007 but reg'd until 2009. Wonder the story. -- Last edit: 2012-06-24 04:55:01 |

what do you mean? It was wrecked in the movie? (I do not remember) If so, that just mean that they used an older car for the crash, it is quite common |
◊ 2012-06-25 20:59 |
Yea, it was hit by the Jetta: /vehicle_88088-Volkswagen-Jetta-Typ-19E-1988.html |

rtsbusman, those are 2 different cars. Or are you wondering why the one that gets rammed by the Jetta was registered until 2009? Well, I'm guessing it wasn't really that damaged (doesn't look like it in the pictures on the Jetta page, maybe the bullbars protected it) -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 21:11:01 |

Indeed, the Jeep seems to have barely been damaged by the Jetta and certainly not what I'd consider wrecked. -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 21:10:53 |

And if you actually watch the scene, it looks like they used CGI or something for the collision (it looks a bit unreal). So maybe they didn't damage the Jeep at all. -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 21:16:45 |

Hmm. I see your point. As for the other jeep, I had just put the info there since they were different years. |

I've added the info for the K-reg Jeep to the comment at the top. |
