The lorry behind the estate car looks like an Austin K4.

… But about the car, a Morris Eight?

The lorry is a Bedford O-Type. I had considered listing it, though there were no closer or clearer views.

If plate is GXT it's wartime issue, London series "allocated in blocks" July 43 to July 44; GKT also wartime 1942, Kent. So it would have been an officially allocated vehicle for some public purpose, not a private purchase.

The basis for the estate car is a Morris Ten Series II, which was discontinued in 1937. It was possible to rebuild cars and obtain a new registration number in those days, so who knows?

The other possibility is that the registration number is DXT, which would be a better match for the car. Morris did not list an estate car, but may have supplied chassis to special order.

CXT = mid 36, DXT = mid-37
