 This actual car - at least a similar looking one with the same registration plate - is pictured in the Crestline book "Studebaker Cars" by James Moloney. The picture in the book as obviously taken some years ago as it has different tyres and some minor changes. It is a 1925 Model EP Big Six 7 passenger sedan.

It is, according to the myRTA database, NSW registration 22-221 comes back to a white 2015 Porsche Macan.

That and in real life, Kate Leigh did have a Studebaker.
