 Definitely Jag. No trace of VUB 763M now, but it was genuine. VUD 763M not issued.

 Thanks! To me, the two grille-designs share quite a big resemblance. Nevertheless, I think the Series II is by far the most attractive variant of the entire XJ-family( runs and ducks for cover).
