Studebaker Avanti, or just Avanti, I'll try to check |

Looks quite original, apart from the wheels. So it could well be a Studebaker Avanti (1963-1965), but early Avanti II's looked rather similar, I guess... |

The gold sedan is a circa 74/75 Valiant/Dart. |

Early avantis were Studebaker. Studebaker went out of buisness but the name, molds etc were sold and production continued under the Avanti name but they were not Studebakers. I can't tell one from the other. This one- -- Last edit: 2007-02-15 18:23:14 |

From this angle it is hard to tell, but I'm guessing that it is probably an Avanti II. Studebaker Avanti /vehicles_make-Studebaker_model-Avanti.html Avanti II /vehicles_make-Avanti.html |

It may be a Studebaker Avanti (1963-4). Look at the badge in back of the front wheels, on Studebakers that denoted Supercharged (R-2) variants. Avanti IIs did not have those. It also looks to be the correct Studebaker "Avanti red" color. So I'd say its a Studebaker with aftermarket wheels. |

You can tell by the slim upper front fender - the part over the wheel well - that it is a Studebaker and not an Avanti II, as that part appears thicker on the AVANTI II due to reduction of wheel well size on the later cars. |
