All 1939 Dodges were called Luxury Liners and were divided into a Special and a Deluxe Series... |

This is a Dodge? I thought it was a Plymouth. |

I believe you are right...Or is this an export model, which combines a Dodge/Plymouth?? And if just a Plymouth, either a P7 Roadking or a P8 Deluxe.. |

It is a Dodge D12, aka a Plodge. Information in The Standard Catalog would suggest that the D12 was built in the US (6,800 units about half and half left and right hand drive) mainly for export whereas the Canadian production (10,328) was built mainly for the local Canadian market. Figures quoted suggest that 3,885 of the US production were exported as CKD packs. I am guessing but maybe this is one of these. According to this site - http://www.allpar.com/world/plymouth.html - there were final assembly plants in Norway, Sweden and Denmark in Scandinavia. I see that this movie was shot in Finland, so take your pic on which plant it came from. |

'Made for SF', not for FIN. FIN came in 1993. |
