If it's filmed in Canada, is it a Fargo? |

Looks like a 1965-67 medium-duty Dodge D-Series indeed: any model from D-400 to D-700. (1965 Dodge medium-duty brochure excerpt) @ lightninboy: If I'm not mistaken, the Dodge make name was also used in Canadian domestic market, with only the hood and rear logos as difference for this generation of trucks. See Fargo's history here. As long as the hood logo is not visible, it's maybe better to use the "mother make" of these trucks as default one? ⇒ 1965 Dodge D-Series? -- Last edit: 2015-11-11 05:06:10 |

Allpar says: "From 1936-1972, Chrysler in Canada had two parallel truck lines, Dodge, sold by Dodge-DeSoto dealers, and Fargo, sold by Chrysler-Plymouth dealers." So it appears even if this could have been a Fargo in Canada it could also have been a Dodge in Canada. |

the 4x4 would be a W series 500, so ours is a D-500 most probably http://powerwagon.wawii.com/For_Sale_W500.htm -- Last edit: 2015-11-14 00:31:10 |

@ andrepa: • your link show a 4x4 model from the previous generation, which therefore doesn't match the truck of this page; • the fact that the picture you have found shows a W-500 doesn't mean that all Dodge fire trucks from all generation are D- or W-500? -- Last edit: 2015-12-10 00:35:16 |
