It looks to me like a Dodge 1½-Ton [WF-32]. |

Looks like a 1939-47 Job-Rated indeed. What seems to be a cross on the grille would make it a 1941+ W-Series, and as this grille apparently lacks chrome in its lower part, the accurate model years range could be 1946-47. • As medium-duty truck, it has the cab that was shared by the 1½-ton F, the "1½-ton Special" G (a 1½-ton truck with 2-ton specs) and the 2-ton H. • From what I gathered from different documents, available wheelbases were 135⅓"/3.44 m (WF-31), 160"/4.06 m (WF-32), 178"/4.52 m (WF-34), 190"/4.83 m (WF-33) and 200"/5.08 m (WF-36) for the WF models. 136"/3.45 m (WG-/WH-45), 148"/3.76 m (WG-/WH-46), 160"/4.06 m (WG-/WH-47), 178"/4.52 m (WG-/WH-48) and 220"/5.59 m (WG-/WH-49) for the WG and WH trucks. As it seems impossible to identify the exact ton-rating or the precise wheelbase, maybe 1946 Dodge W-Series would match? -- Last edit: 2015-10-31 04:40:53 |
