Plain radiator top without the Fordson name and with the 'ladder' sides, a WWI MoM (Ministry of Munitions in the UK) tractor made by Ford and Son Inc. at Dearborn. The model name 'F' was used later, as derived from the Dearborn factory's 'F' designation. "The new tractors bore no identification (Henry hadn’t yet chosen Fordson for the name), so the machines became known in Britain as MoM tractors." "By 1917 World War I was raging in Europe. The first Henry Ford & Son tractors were exported to the UK to help expand British agriculture in the battle to feed Britain. Fordson production occurred in the U.S. (1917–1928); Cork, Ireland (1919–1923 and 1928–1933); and at Dagenham, Essex, England (1933–1964)." ![]() Cropped image from https://www.farmcollector.com/tractors/ministry-of-munitions-tractor/ Lincolnshire, England, in the summer of 1918, a Ministry of Munitions (MOM) tractor.
