 No, "Golf Cabrio".
And the "III" is there just because it is 3rd gen of Golf, even if the 2nd gen didn't exist as convertible.
Like the Jetta 5 in Europe which is only the 3rd one, since we had Vento & Bora for 3rd & 4th gen.

 I think this is the "mk3.5" with mk4 style front and bumpers.
