I'll better be quiet and do not mention dsl's big diappointment, I've caused [:shy] At the last IMCDb-user-meeting I've purchased a http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51RV1GXR81L._SY355_.jpg
dsl raved about his childhood-memories, about his mother's marvellous Pyrex-beaker - and then I destroyed everything with my comment "Have you seen, it's made in France?"

Brits were miles behind with site material handling and when it dawned on us it was much cheaper and quicker to move things around site and into buildings by a rough terrain forklift than by ten men and a rope we bought lots of Manitou and Sambron forklifts because they were far ahead in development.

One very clear impression from the film is how chaotic building sites were in those days - stuff like bricks, girders, planks, pipes, steel rods, scaffolding, spoil heaps etc is just piled up all over the place without zones or proper access routes.
