Is this a Shelby Mustang? |

No, looks like a fairly regular Mustang ('69-'70?) |

Notice the vent on the hood and the lamps in the grille, is this really a regular Mustang? I listed it because I thought it might be one of the souped-up ones. |

could be |

For sure it's a 1969 |

At the very least, it's not a Shelby, which looked rather different from the other Mustangs in '69. I suppose it could be a Boss 429, but other than that, I'm just tempted to say it's been modified |

I was thinking a Boss Mustang, what with the colour and the hood. However, it couldn't be a Boss 302 because it lacks the stripes on the hood. Boss 429 is more like it. http://www.damox.com/cars/thumbs/Ford/1970_ford_mustang_boss_429.jpg |

Looks like a regular '69 fastback with the standard fake hood scoop & rear spoiler. It is jacked up a bit w/ custom wheels. I think the 429 always came w/ the shaker hood which looked very different. |

I only posted it because it looked interesting, but now it's been revealed to be a slightly customized regular Mustang, is it worth keeping? |

I say leave it, as it is still a good looker. |

It is still well visible, and (I guess) eye-catching when you see the movie due to its color |

scoop is too small to be a Boss 429.....It's a Mach 1 style scoop -- Last edit: 2012-09-05 03:17:01 |

maybe so....but that yellow car does not have a Boss 429 hood scoop! |

also 69 Bosses had body colored scoops and 70 Bosses had black scoops. |
