 Yes they seem to be the oval ones, a 'Zwitter' then, so this could probably be merged with /vehicle.php?id=835560 (Also the new bumper of Oct. 1st 1952, but I'd like to see that the vent wings in the doors from same date are present)

atom wrote 1952+ by the bumper? Could it be narrowed down more by the grille holes under the headlights? Anything else that can be used to narrow it down? I'm trying to learn here :)

Licence number looks like A27114, in my book from 1957 there was a 1953 VW with reg A27112 and a 1950 VW with reg A27118:

A 'Zwitter', made Oct. 1st 1952-March 9th 1953. Or even possible an 'Ovali' made March 10th onwards, details are hidden.
