The 2 coupés with brown and near black vinyl roofs in the lower left corner and bottom centre are 1971 Mercury Cougars. |

Has both Mk3 Cortinas and TC Taunuses parked together. Looks like a dockyard shipping area rather than a sales park - where would such a mixture be going or have come from? |

The Ford factory was in the western part of the port of Amsterdam. I'm pretty sure the whole range of what we see here was assembled here. But the cars with a license plate were already sold, maybe owned by factory workers. |

Interesting white Cortina in background of /images/034/618.jpg with black rubber over-riders on bumper - never seen that before - wonder if it's going to Canada (/images/318/382.jpg)? So a mixture of outbound European models (though not all going across Atlantic), inbound US Mustangs and Cougars on the dockside, and a few workers cars to fill the gaps. Must have been fun for the workers getting their cars out after filming stopped. |

Amsterdam also built a variety of US fords such as mustangs and galaxies as well as german (various taunus) and british models (anglia cortina corsair) for the european market. the cougars seen here could also have been dutch built. Ford transits ,D series and Transcontinental trucks were also built in holland. |
