All I know is Universal Coach from Detroit, who built some funeral car conversions and pimp cars during the 1960s/1970s, but there is no hint if these companies were related in any way. I guess, Universal Mfg. were a very small company. They are not even mentioned in Peter Adsten's book "Crestline: Building World Class Ambulances", and he dedicates a paragraph to every competitor from Canada.
