Earlier front end so could be late registered 1994 stock but Wiki says they produced a 'sub-model' which had the earlier grille/lights to use up parts so it may indeed be a 1995 (it would make sense that the special editions like 'Swing' had the older parts).

 Glass's only identifies the Swing as estate - no hatches or saloon, introduced May 94 on 1.4i and 1.7D only. Based on Merit with body colour mirrors, alloys, driver airbag, central locking, tilt/slide sunroof, Swing badging. All 1.7D Astras replaced by 1.7TD in Aug 94. No sub-model memtioned.
