If it would be an actual car, it could be a show-object on a PR-platform. But sometimes you can find older cars, too. So at the aiport Münster/Osnabrück there is (was? Since the bankrupcy) displayed a 1974 VW Karmann-Ghia. It may happen, that such display-cars become forgotten. Years ago I heard the story of the early Jaguar E-Type, placed in a glass-box on the RMS Queen Mary ( or was it the RMS Queen Elisabeth?). After many years it ws forgotten, who the owner of this car was. It went to a collection AFAIK. |

Daytona Yellow, I think. I had YDT 409M, a Capri Mk 1 1/2 in this colour with a black vinyl roof. It was a stop gap car, bought for £70, and sold for more after I had fitted a new front wing and re sprayed it. |
