Wouldn't it be a Nissan built Austin Cambridge A50? |

Not A50 - doesn't have the ducktail shape. Could be 54+ Isuzu Minx PH10, but while general shape is good, detail is unclear - so anything similar from J own designs?? But white in front definitely 56+ Isuzu Minx. -- Last edit: 2015-08-05 16:00:24 |

I could be early 50s Toyopet, before Crown. There were few body producers dressing same R-chassis. |

Toyopet SF from Arakawa Sheet Metal Works is very close. ![]() |

The rear window is too large (and in three parts) compared to our mystery car. |

Definitely not a Minx, nor a Standard 8, or anything else UK. Pretty well has to be something J, but that's where my knowledge stops. |

I also hink it's a Toyopet SF (not sure if this or the other is listed correctly though). |

All right with Toyopet SF. I think I saw ('wishful seeing'?) round tailight few seconds earlier. |

I excluded 4-door Ohta also. And good point about rear window. I think they could changed it for 1954, but can't find a proof. |

Never occurred to me before how similar the rear design is to the Prince AISH - possible industrial espionage / inspiration? Otherwise they look nothing alike. |

Lateef is right. Is a Prince AISH, not a Toyopet |
