GM...Hard to tell if it is a Chevrolet or a GMC

I don't know of too many GMC's that had engine c.i.d. cowl badges from that period.

@Odey... I am saying GM because of the marker lamp on the hood...

Badge looks like it says '427'.... Also this is an armored car, somewhat custom-made....

Side marker is consistent with '68 - '72 C-series but I don't think those were ever offered with a 427.

Is it possible that someone could have put a 427 in it??

We need eLMeR's expertise...

My "expertise" is mostly due to searches everybody can make, plus some memory for what I found :)

Cowl, hood and wheel arch of a 1967-72 GM medium-duty C-Series indeed, with the 1968+ side markers, as already noted by Skywatcher68:

The heaviest models (Chevrolet CE/ME-60 / GMC CE/CM/ME-6500) had indeed this kind of vent louver on the side of the hood:

(1972 Chevrolet ME-60 // 1969 GMC ME-6500)

And as (almost) said by supcoach, the louver end logo, when present, indicates the 427 ci (6.997 cm³) / 260 hp gasoline V8 engine, which was optional for the heaviest models of both makes:

From what I see, the cowl emblem is the 1969-72 Chevrolet one (the 1969-72 GMC version has a different lettering plus a small bar under it):
(00:03:57 in the 49 minutes version)

And the tandem rear axle makes it an ME-Series model:

(00:02:28 in the 49 minutes version)

In a nutshell, all clues lead to a 1969-72 Chevrolet ME-60 (that I set as C-60 for consistency). Rather than a van/MPV, it's an armored truck based on the chassis+cowl version of the truck. The closest class in the IMCDb is the Chassis Cab one, even if linked to the cars for now...
Should the 427 ci engine be noted in the complement?

It's not possible to give a time code for the main picture: while IMDb gives this episode a 60-minute duration, Youtube shows different versions, from 49 to 57 minutes. Depending on the version, this scene takes place one and a half to two minutes after the beginning of the episode.

Somebody should edit that into Wikipedia. Currently stops at 402.

Luckily, I do. But this article seems to be primarily about the light-duty trucks.

I also corrected/completed some parts of this WP article several times, but there's a lot of missing stuff and almost the same number of errors in it...

By the way, who added the 427 complement for the truck of this page? Is it really worth mentioning? For now, it's only related to Corvettes and Camaros (and one Impala), in the IMCDb.
