This *looks* at first glance to be a 9-3 but I think this is a hack job with a 9-3 grille and hatch fitted. Bumpers (front and rear) and alloys (I think they are V6 900 ones) look more like those of a 900. V272JUB is a fake plate.

 Looks like a NG900 with OG9-3 rear hatch to me.

 A 9-3 hatch wouldn't fit perfectly on a 900. The taillights don't align right. People have tried.

So it would have to be 9-3, with retrofitted bumpers for some reason.

 There is panel gap, it's possible.
A 9-3 upgrade would be more logical of course. Let's make it 900 as 9-3.

 The colour says 2nd gen. 900 (MY 1994 or 1995). Grille and rear door are from a 1st gen. 9-3 for some reason...

Breaks down in episode 5.01 so the character buys a Ford Mustang. The SAAB shows up again in 5.02 (presumably because production order was different from air order) and for the last four episodes the Mustang magically becomes an Alfa 159. :??:

Wonder if it's the same one as: /vehicle_430401-SAAB-900-1994.html ? Same colour and that one has been made to look like a 9-3 too.
