"CML 722 [LM18]. A Bertelli & Sutherland Team Car, LM18 is strictly speaking an Ulster 2 Seater. It has an illustrious history and contiunes to race today. Built, with LM19 and LM 20, for the 1935 Le Mans 24 Hours race, its first outing with drivers James Elwes and Mort Morris-Goodall (who founded the Aston Martin Owners Club in May that year) produced a result at Le Mans of 12th overall, fifth in the Biennial Cup and seventh in class. In the Irish RAC Tourist Trophy also in 1935, LM18 came fifth, with Penn Hughes at the wheel. It is is now owned, with LM20 and LM21, by a prominent racing member of the Owners Club."
