chris40 ◊ 2007-10-13 10:16	What did early 203s do for tail-lights? Did they just have a single one incorporated in the number-plate light as was often the practice in British cars pre-WW2? I ask because on Malta, in the late '60s, I almost rear-ended an old dark-coloured 203 in the dark because it showed no tail-light at all, and I was surprised to see no provision for tail-lights in the rear wings. At the time I put it down to the Maltese approach to accident repairs, but years later I noticed in a photo I'd taken in Valetta another ... this is an enlargement of part of the slide:
bref ◊ 2007-10-13 13:38	You're right! Lights on both side appeared very lately, for the 1955 model! and the plate light of the 1949-1951 came from the 402... a pre-WW2 car!!!
