Another one (or the same): 00:35:10 |

Actually it is a Daimler. Impossible to tell whether X300 (Daimler Six / Daimler Double Six) or X308 (Daimler Eight / Super Eight) from this angle. |

And so how do we list that? just Daimler? The lowest model? Or Daimler Seven, to take the average? -- Last edit: 2007-01-26 00:39:54 |

7 - well I think Sunbar was the one, that said, that those have to be listed as Daimler (not Jaguar Daimler as I thought..) so let it be Daimler Six X300 (unless we have a picture of the front bumper..) |

I cannot get a view of the bumper. This is the best that I get: |

If this is a Daimler, where's the knobbly grille? |

I am blind - taking back, without enlarging it looked to me as it has that grille (tricky angle, it looks like that on the main pic)... But you are right. XJ12 or Sovereign then.. -- Last edit: 2012-12-12 22:19:01 (G-MANN) |

This is an X308, the grill is too rounded to be an X300 which had more a rectangular grill than oval. |

I'd say this an XJ8 rather than a Daimler, looks like it has the black Jaguar badge on the grille instead of the gold Daimler D. |

Actually I retract my last comment. Only Daimlers had chrome mirrors in the X308 era (European market) It probably does have a fluted grille, it doesn't show up here because the picture isn't that high quality. -- Last edit: 2012-12-12 22:18:30 |
