Based on 1980 AMC Concord(ex-Hornet),was practically a 4 WD version of them,launched in 1980 that lasted until 1984 circa(together with Spirit--ex-Gremlin--was one of last"true"AMC cars to be built) PS In Italy was imported since 1981(was shown at 1980 Turin M.S.),only in Wagon version(at home the Eagle--since 1987 that name becomes a new Brand of Chrysler Group--was available also in 2 doors Hardtop Sedan,4 doors Sedan and Hatchback Coupè) PS 2 Seems that range of 4 WD cars was developed by AMC overall to fight with Subaru GLF and SRX 4 WD on home market(at times,before Eagle debut,the Subaru 4WD was the sole 4 WD sedan sold on yankee market and practically don't own none challengers) -- Last edit: 2007-01-25 14:40:30 |
