A British car named Blitz? Isn't that kinda like a Japanese company naming a car B-29?

<joke in very bad taste> Complete lost of memory (or absolute forgiveness) will be proved the day a Mazda Enola Gay is unveiled... </joke in very bad taste>

They could use this classic for the advertising campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5XJ2GiR6Bo

It's the name used on the German market too to add to the poor taste. In the UK we just called it the CF.

Just in case: remember that the Opel logo is called a Blitz, in German ;)

Quote As Vauxhall/Bedford was a General Motors subsidiary, outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland, the CF was sold through Opel dealers as the Opel Bedford Blitz from 1973 on.

@ Gag Halfrunt:
The Opel Bedford combo used as whole make seems to be a common mistake. When you look at German brochures, the Opel name appears only on the plates of some vehicles, but never in the texts (except to remind to whom the customer had to give his money ;) ). See the two examples above, and if needed you can find here a lot more saying the same.
But for now I saw no document with Opel Bedford as make.
