We have none listed as just Six, but many listed as Standard Six or Master Six, is it one of these two? |

In my Standard catalog of American cars (2nd edition, 1989), Buicks from 1929 precisely are not anymore refered to as Standard or Master but 116, 121 or 129 ("which represented the wheelbase measurements"). They are classed as Series 116 - Six, Series 121 - Six and Series 129 - Six. And then by models inside each series, for instance Model 27 Four-door Sedan for the Series 116 - Six. (It's page 168 of the catalog.) So, enlightened by vintman, maybe could we give try to 1929 Series 116 - Six Four-door Sedan and add [29-27] like nzcarnerd did for some others, /vehicle_764463-Buick-Series-116-29-26-1929.html /vehicle_821940-Buick-Series-121-29-44-1929.html Regards, DidierF. -- Last edit: 2015-09-10 09:29:42 |

Going back through some older Buick pics and I have doubts whether this is a Buick. By the way, all Buicks of this era - up to 1930 - are sixes so there is no need to differentiate it. -- Last edit: 2016-03-07 21:59:27 |
