And the 'Made for' is because....? |

... that's how some of our previous UK 1302 S had been entered. Now tidied for consistency so all are "made for" GB, but open to debate if useful. |

From earlier discussions, RHD/LHD alone does not qualify |

Was 1302 S sold everywhere?? Or a special car or name for selected markets?? |

UK brochure http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/71bug/4.jpg German http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/71germanfullline/4.jpg Danish http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/71danishbug/71page04.jpg Dutch Link to "www.thesamba.com" French http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/1972_bug_french/9.jpg And so on... 1302 was an evolution of the 1300, hence the '2'. Later followed by the '3' in 1303. 'S' combos were with a 1600 engine, else 1300, unless (usually with an 'A') 1200 alternative. And with an 'L' in luxury versions. Cabrios were 'LS'. Things were simpler back then. US/CDN cars were a different thing. -- Last edit: 2015-05-13 15:04:39 |

OK - all made-for-GB tags removed from 1302 S. Interesting that about a third of our 1302 S collection is UK cars. |
