Is it possible that the blue bus in the foreground is the same like the red one on the left? Red is KAvZ 651. -- Last edit: 2007-01-18 20:04:24 |

Less windows, rear fenders, bumper are different I think... |

I have heard opinions, that this blue bus is KAG-3, made in Lithuania, Kaunas (therefore Kauno Autobusu Gamykla -- Kaunas's Bus Factory) on Gaz-51 chassis (like all the other small buses from this period like Kavz, GZA etc.). This bus has a "wagon" type, i.e. it doesn't have the engine "nose". Bus's frame made of wood and then steel sheets applied to cover the body. http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/k/kag3_5.jpg http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/k/kag3_1.jpg |

Red bus is for sure KAG-1, not KAvZ, Paz or GZA. Even color scheme fit - http://denisovets.narod.ru/remz/remzpages/modelpages/karz_kag1.html Blue seems to be indeed KAG-3. |
