1939-47 Job-Rated platform. T-Series if 1939 model, V-Series if 1940 MY or W-Series if 1941-47.
1941-47 park lamps on the cowl and chrome (or 1942-45 painted?) cross on the grille: a W-Series. With these wheel rims and such a cab, it could be a WF 1½-ton model, a WG 1½-ton "Special" (i.e. heavy-duty) one or a WH 2-ton one.

⇒ 1941+ Dodge W-Series Platform.
_____

Edit: the lower grille seems to be the 1946-47 non-chrome one. But could it be just due to the low light?

Strictly the same model and model year as the truck on its right, i.e. a 1941+ Dodge W-Series Platform... Worth a new page?

DidierF wrote I saw details differing on the front end, maybe something that could help to distinguish the year of making.

Which details?

(Heureux soient les fêlés, car ils laisseront passer la lumière. Michel Audiard :) )

None can be a 1939 model (V-shape cross on the grille) or a 1940 one (chromed triangle in the lower part of the grille) as both trucks have the 1941-47 park lamps (on the cowl) and the cross on the grille.

Clues to identify the other model years:
1941-42 models have chrome bars in the lower grille;
1942-45 model had no chrome at all, which is not the case for any of "ours";
• And as said in the other page, both may be 1946-47 models, due to what seems to be a non-chromed lower grille.

Fargo trucks had a different hood end, and were only export trucks. Plymouth trucks had also a fargoesque front end and, if I'm not mistaken, were only available a ½-ton models.

I'm sorry, I don't see (and never read about) any other possibility to differentiate these trucks. From what I know, they're siblings ;)

eLMeR wrote Not an unknown Dodge: it has all the details of a 1941-47 W-Series. The only doubt could be about the MY in that scope.
