Location: Eastern Front. This is not one of the common Wehrmacht bikes. It still has a private plate (IA = Berlin), thus creating many possibilites what this might be. |

If I may add: (Source: Link to "www.dkw-autounion.de") -The front fork should be of a new closed design (to improve handling with a sidecar mounted), not this open type. -The 500 cylinder head has different fin design, and this cylinder looks too small for a 500. Design mathes 350 (or even a 200 engine?) -The silencer was black on the 'Normal' versions, and chromed on 'Luxus'. (not just for the 500) -BTW, versions with electric start had an 'A' suffix (Anlasser, or starter motor in English. But you wont see a starter motor, it was a Dynastart) |

The fork, and the engine. The cooling fins and other details are wrong for a 500. BTW, you shuold add a 'c' above - 'Design matches 350' makes more sense  |
